What About Your Family

Well, here I am today in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for a military funeral of Linda’s uncle. And I’d like to ask you as champions at your tables to talk about your family and talk about the loved ones that you know may not be on their way to heaven. That’s right.

Heaven?

You know, sometimes people take it for granted that, oh, I know I go to church, I know about God, and you know, I believe that God exists.

But there really is a message in the word of God that says unless you confess, unless you repent of your sin and accept Jesus Christ as your savior and lord, you won’t make it. That’s just the bottom line. you won’t make it.

Relationship

And we need that personal relationship where we have given ourselves over to Jesus and truly trust him to lead us and guide us, protect us, and bring us to heaven when the time comes.

Are You Ready

My question and challenge is for each of us, who in our family is not ready and what are we prepared to do about it? That’s right. Who is not ready and what are we prepared to do about it? Talk about that at your table today because that is a great challenge Jesus left with us. Go and make disciples and we need to start with our own family.
