Where do you Stand?
It’s truly amazing how we have allowed “The Church” to become so divided over Republican/Democrat politics in America. When I say amazing I should say disappointing!
The big question is very simple what is right and what is wrong based on God’s Word! The Church has allowed politics, Hollywood and the internet to radically impact and change how people see morality. Obviously this is not everyone but let’s be realistic, the church has not fought for the preservation of our Judeo/Christian values in our schools nor in our government very effectively! Every where you look sexually provocative messages are being thrown at us.
We have spiritual leaders who should be setting the moral standard and we elect representatives who are supposed to represent the values we hold so dear! Whether a democrat or a republican I am going to be held accountable before God for who I elect. Whether I am Baptist, Pentecostal, Catholic, non-denominational, etc. I will stand before God and give a personal accounting!
The fight of who is right and who is wrong has been tearing away the very fabric of Christianity. Yes, Christians are giving in more to fleshly desires than anytime in history and the church has often compromised God’s values to please people. Pastors who are afraid to teach all of God’s word are largely to blame. We love these precious leaders and we faithfully pray for them but we need them to stand strong and preach the truth of God’s word. Our country will not stand if we allow the political system to divide and destroy “the church” in America.
The evidence is clearly seen by simply turning on the news and hearing how our elected officials talk publicly to one another. They disrespect the offices they hold by their words and actions! They vote for laws that are totally against God’s Word, such as the non-protection of human life, of not recognizing marriage as God stated, the destruction of national borders and so much more. God’s Word is very clear and does not mince words. Just because someone says, I was born this way, every body is doing it, and times are changing, does not validate the tossing out of God’s divine and permanent instructions! They clearly are more concerned about their own agendas.
Pastors and Christians are being ridiculed and heckled in America in record proportions. Our churches now have to have armed guards to assure the safety to worship and our children are often criticized in their classrooms if they tell a teacher they believe the Bible.
Traditional marriage between a man and a woman has been under fire by our government for years and some of the laws are absolutely demonic! Statistics prove that a “fatherless” home leads far more young men to crime and criminal activities. Our government enacted laws and special benefits that facilitates this.
You have to decide. Are you going to stand with God or stand with Satan? There is no other way to state this!
The church has to get engaged like never before. We need pastors on the order of the “Black Robe Regiment”. We need to dismiss teachers and school boards who are anti-God.
We need to determine individually what side of the aisle do I believe God is on. Yes, I personally believe God has a plan according to His word but so does the adversary.
It is time pastor that you actually fight for your sheep. You tell them truth about people who are in government based on facts not newscasters. You need to research for yourself both sides and be willing to admit to yourself that you could be wrong. This also holds true for many popular preachers, teachers and other spiritual leaders. There are many who are false and intentionally spread lies. Do not be caught up in the emotions of the moment and do or say something foolish.
I must say over the past 10 years I have seen and met many people that I had the entirely wrong impression of them. I have learned that most of the time when I hear a criticism of someone that it simply is not true. Most of all we can never ever trust social media. It is definitely a tool that can be used for good but we must have great discernment a triple check facts.
If you are reading this I pray you will always seek God for guidance no matter how small a thing. I pray you will pray for all of our leaders to commit their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord. I pray you will listen to those you disagree with, with a heart of love. I pray that you allow God to grow you for His perfect plan for your life and that you will strive to help make America and God’s Church strong again. Above all, serve Him with all your heart and let your light shine!
As for me and my house we are going to stand with the Lord!
