The $250,000 Challenge

Well, good morning, good afternoon, or good evening, whatever time of day it is for you this week at your table, all of you champions. I’d like to ask you to do something a little bit different, and we will continue on the journey of steps to success. But I want to ask you this.

Would you Take a Job if Offered $250,000

If someone offered you $250,000 to do any job that you wanted to do, what would that job be?

And would you take it? That’s right. $250,000.

You can name the job. It could be a food taster – It could be a shopper – It could be, I’m just going to go out and test golf courses all over the world and all your expenses would be paid. I mean, you just pick whatever that would be and think about that.

Talk about it at your table and you may have one or two choices.

And we talked about passion and that’s kind of a trick question, but if that really happened to you, would you take another job? Would you do something different?

If it was just a matter of I’m going to get paid a lot of money and I can do it and I can have fun. What would that be?

Odd question. Something to talk about.

But we still need to identify what really is our passion.

I can tell you real quick, I’ve got three passions that I can talk about. One is God. God is my passion. Serving him, trying to make him happy. And sometimes I’m not as passionate as I should be. Next is my wife. I am so passionate and love my wife and am so blessed by the gift of my wife ~ I am passionate about her. I want to make her happy and when I don’t, I am crushed. And I know I get crushed a lot because I don’t make her happy some of the time. But I work at it. I try to because she’s an amazing amazing helpmate, partner, and just a wonderful woman. And then our children fall after Linda. We love our children and we’re passionate about them.

But then finally, this ministry to pastors.

I’m passionate to serving pastors, encouraging pastors, blessing pastors, loving on pastors, challenging pastors (and any minister out there) and really begging at times for you to make acquaintances through the champion table. We need trusted friends – We need people we can count on when the chips are down – We need people to share our joys with sometimes just to have wise counsel. And that champion table can make a huge difference in your life as it has for over 15 years of my life.

Again, what are you passionate about? We want to get to the core of how to truly enjoy success.

And that doesn’t mean changing what you’re doing.

Do You Know a Pastor that Needs Prayer

Linda and I love you. We pray for you. We thank you for your prayers and support. And we’re always here for you. If you know a pastor that needs prayer, put them in our prayer role, register them. We will pray by name for each one.

God bless you. We love you.
