I have just returned from a Pastors conference in Matagalpa Nicaragua with Pastors Nolan Edwards and Willie Bolden. Pastor Edwards invited me to join him and Pastor Bolden on this Pastors Conference sponsored by Champions Church in Winter Haven, Florida, with my sole purpose to share about All Pro Pastors and what we are doing worldwide in Pastors lives and their communities. On three different days I had the honor to speak to a new group of Pastors and it was truly amazing at the response. The Holy Spirit moved in a powerful way and the Pastors embraced the “Champions Table” as possibly a way for Pastors to come together for the very first time. It looked like 100% of the Pastors stood to join a “Table”. Pastor Luis Corea, one of the Pastor Associations main leaders, has volunteered to lead the All Pro Pastors movement in Matagalpa. Pastor Corea is now our Ambassador and he is very committed to taking this to the 120 plus Pastors in his city. Pastor Corea has a very strong church and is on Television weekly. Pray for him as he moves forward. Pastor Adonay Gonzales is a Pastor who had come over from Honduras to assist Pastor Nolan with an outreach to Pastors and many special events and to help with the conference. He also asked to become an Ambassador for APP and to take the “Champions Table” to Honduras. He is a leader in the GERAZIN church group which has 200 churches in Honduras. He helps to open new churches in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. We look forward to working with him to help start All Pro Pastor Chapters throughout his region of ministry. He is a great man of God. We left on Sunday May 18th and returned Saturday May 24th. As part of a team we had several worship services to speak at and ministered to many people each night. Pastor Nolan Edwards is planning a city wide Crusade with the local Pastors. Getting them together to work together and develop relationships is why All Pro Pastors was invited to join the team. Pastor Edwards has been in a Champions Table for over two years and he has seen how it is bringing the Body of Christ (The Church ) together in a transforming way. The Pastors in Nicaragua have caught the vision too. Please pray for us as we work to facilitate and supply the needed information and supplies that they need in the Central American Spanish language. Praise God that Pastor Tony Ponceti from Lakeland, Florida  is an Ambassador with APP and is bi-lingual. He has agreed to help and already travels often to Honduras. I also want to thank Pastor Edwards for inviting us to be a part of His great work in Nicaragua and to also ask for you to pray for him as he  diligently strives to minister the wonderful people of Nicaragua.

Pastor, what is it that you struggle with? Is it depression because everything is so hard and no-one helps or cares? Is it the secretary because she is always smiling and starting to look too good, or is it the lady who you are counseling and you should never be alone with!!? Is it the “power” you have over people as the leader and you like it , oh so much? Do you have a strong desire for more titles and prestige so more people will go wowwwww? Is money causing you to slip away from God’s way? Are the attitudes of people driving you to quit or compromise? Are the sheep biting you and your spouse and you feel like the sacrificial lamb? Do you feel like striking back? Is the church your mistress and your wife is ready to leave you?

Pastor, the enemy is like a roaring lion seeking to devour YOU! You need to stand firm and stand strong and perhaps get a couple of brothers to hold your arms up. Moses had Aaron and Hur to hold his arms up during the battle. Jesus even took Peter, James and John  off regularly for private times. As a Pastor and a man we all need to have an inner group that we can lean on.Men we can TRUST!  We need accountability daily, weekly, monthly, etc. We need each other to help us fight the good fight and not give in to the flesh or satan’s trickery. A good encouragement group will save you!!

A good accountability group is not afraid to question about any of the above issues and challenges. It will face these and more with you head-on. A great accountability group will go much deeper than is comfortable and walk with you through the onslaught of hell if necessary! Accountability is not to be feared but to be embraced! As Pastors we need strong accountability. We need to be questioned and drilled by our Trusted brothers in order to be the men of God we should be.

It is the Pastor who men and women see that set the standard of morality and character. If you tell off colored jokes or listen to them, then it must be okay. If the Pastor doesn’t return calls or is late to meetings or texts during worship, then must be okay.  If the Pastor doesn’t “date” his wife or show her attention in public then that must be okay too. If the Pastor has wandering eyes… well lets not go there because this is a plague in most churches among men and women!

However, if the Pastor shows his wife genuine love and attention for all to see and he is prompt and considerate in everything,  everyone will follow suite. If he worships in worship and stays clear of the appearance of evil this too will become the standard. When the congregation sees a loving, considerate man with high moral character and uncompromising values this will bring life to the messages you deliver!

It is the accountability group that helps hold us to the standards that we set and demand of ourselves. A great accountability group can help you raise the bar to another level and help you hold it up. It is brothers who link arms with you and you are never never never alone. If you have heard the phrase “they will take a bullet for you”, this is what a great group brings you.

This is why we call All Pro Pastors accountability groups “The Champions Table” . It is a place that Champions are made! It is where we step out of our box as Pastor and embrace challenging accountability by brothers we love and trust! It grows us into the” Man of God” we preach about becoming.

Pastor, what do you struggle with? The many issues we listed above are real and you know they are. The question is what are you willing to do about it? My prayer is that today you will reach out and start an accountability group today and if it happens to be a “Champions Table” we will do everything possible to support you. The Champions Table is safe and life saving. Join one today.

Blessings,

paul

Pastors Enjoying Lunch

All Pro Pastors in Florida has set a high standard in the USA with three Pastor Luncheons. Lakeland, Winter Haven and Plant City Chapters each held luncheons inviting all local pastors and their spouses for a complimentary lunch with many gifts and door prizes. Ambassadors Tony Ponceti-Lakeland; Dwight Edwards, Kevin Clark-Winter Haven; and Dan Middlebrooks, Joe Kelley-Plant City are all mighty men of God and passionate about encouraging fellow Pastors. These men organized and hosted three different luncheon events which gave pastors a powerful and detailed pictured of how APP Champions Tables are making a big impact in their lives and community.

Pastor Mark Epperson from Medulla Baptist church in Lakeland was a great host. This was his first APP Luncheon and he became excited about getting involved. The Oasis Church and Pastor Kevin Clark hosted their second luncheon. Pastor Kevin has been in a Champions Table for three years and he has a dynamite testimony about why the  “Champions Table” can be life changing foe every pastor. Pastor Fred Harrold and Pastor Dick Moore from Parkway Baptist hosted the Plant City luncheon. They featured special guest Dr Keith Johnson, America’s Number 1 Confidence Builder and Pastor Leadership Trainer.

Each Luncheon had special guests that Pastors heard from. These guests speak on a host of subjects that most Pastors do not hear yet nearly all need! When planning Chapter Luncheons we pray that the Pastor “Take Away’s” are added value and create the attitude of “when is the next luncheon”.

We applaud the great work these Chapters are doing! Pastors we are Praying for you!!

As a ministry to Pastors by Pastors, we are ready to serve you and help you plan a Pastors luncheon. We are also looking to start APP Chapters in every community.

(Commentary by Cheryl Johnston)

What a day of refreshing and practical encouragement was the 2nd Annual All-Pro Pastors and Wives Conference held on May 9, 2013 at Champions Church in Winter Haven.

The more than 115 attendees from Central Florida were treated to a well-organized program of powerful messages, practical advice, a great lunch, and opportunities to network with supportive organizations such as Moody Radio Florida 91.1 FM, Kingdom Life University, Strong Tower Insurance, World Action Radio & TV Network, and the National Center for Life & Liberty, among others.

Pierre Chestang of Moody Radio Florida emceed and author Richard Mull and Natasha Malpeli led with worship music. In addition to some of the early speakers in both the morning and afternoon portions, women enjoyed two breakout sessions.

Over and over were heard these comments: “Wow, so powerful!” “Great advice.” “Those ideas gave me a whole new perspective.” “I had never thought about it from that approach before.” “Thank God for my Champions Table group.”

In addition to the “Champions Table” accountability groups of 3-4 men who meet weekly for friendship and encouragement, the international All-Pro Pastors ministry now has its first groups for women. This is a ministry for people who are hungry for God and who desire with their whole hearts to see Him made known throughout the world.

Without a doubt, founders Paul and Linda Pickern are two of those.

Hats off for an incredible day of revival for area pastors and their wives, and all glory be to Jesus Christ, our Lord.

We received this e-mail message from Bishop Peter Simwa from Kenya. He is our resident Ambassador to Africa for All Pro Pastors. We have copied his message exactly as it was in order for you to feel his heart.

(He is seated in the middle of his Champions Table.)

Dear Paul and All Pro Pastors.

Am writting this note from my heart and know that you will be encouraged and touched by what the Lord is doing in Africa through  All propastors Champions Table. We already have  sixteen Tables in Kenya and Uganda. The Lord Jesus is annointing  us  to  manage this tables with the knowledge that  we did not start them, but  he Jesus is  the  author  and the finisher of  these great ministry that has the sole purpose of bringing men of God  to  seat  together and share their  hearts  confidently to each other.

Barriers are being broken, bounderies are being expanded, relationships are being birthed, brotherhood and  friendship is becoming strong,Churches are being made  strong  as the discouraged are  encouraged, all this is  as result of Gods divine connection to All  propastors.

God is speaking to the pastors through this  Tables that Unity is what is needed  for the Church  of Christ   to be strong and make  an impact to the world.God  is   connecting  us  from every tribe, color, race and nation to be one  as we move  in this last days to Establish  his Kingdom on earth before he comes back for his glorious Church.

Testimonies are being shared everytime we meet, and  men of God are realising that we need  each other in the ministry.

As we serve the congregation we also realize thhat  we need someone to serve  us  and talk to us,we need encouragement,we neeed prayers,we need to be loved,we need someone to pour  our heart  to and  the Champions Table has brought that to us,praise the Lord!!!

Am planning to have a Pastors luncheon the first week of may on thursday so that we can review and see how far we have gone and also introduce other pastors  to the Champins table. In june am  going to Uganda to meet with Pastors and  those  who have  already  joined the Champions table,Pastor patrick  is asking me to  come  to Uganda and have a Luncheon with them.I want to  appeal to you all, first to pray for this missions and the  provision to have the Lucheon succeed and  two, to make it  to Uganda and have the same ministry.please keep me in prayers as  an Ambasador that the Lord will grant me wisdom and knowledge to be the Joshua that will take this Jesus ordained ministry to the  ends  of Africa.

We look  forward to being the Christ Ambasador together  to make Champions of  Christ.

may the Lord bless all the Champions as you serve in his kingdom, our labour iis  not in vain.

Bishop Peter Simwa.African  Ambasador,All propastors.

Pastor Phil Wade of Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala Florida held a Pastors luncheon on Thursday Feb 2nd for the purpose of bringing the local pastors together in love and kingdom building. Pastor Phil invited All Pro Pastors to introduce how God is using this ministry to bring Pastors together to establish trusted relationships. We were honored to share with about 40 pastors and 4 of their county commisioners. There were 15 Pastors who requested to start/join a Champions Table and 5 others requested more information. Praise God!!!!

On Friday I received an e-mail message from a Hispanic Pastor who had to leave early and had questions about connecting his Hispanic Pastor friends with All Pro Pastors. There are 70 Hispanic Churches in the Ocala area he said.  We pray that they will join together with all other cultures to share the message of Jesus and His saving power. There must be well over 200 churches of all faiths in the area.

Pastor Phil has a real passion to encourage Pastors and to see all denominations, races and cultures come together to unite the body of Christ to save their city and community. Pastor Phil also offered his staff his resources and his church to be available to help any Pastor with any area of need.

It is also time to give PRAISE for his hospitality and his tremendous staff for providing a truly fabulous meal. Their preparation leading up to the luncheon is why he had such a great response and I can not applaud his team effort enough. Phil you are an awesome brother and the real deal!!!

Pastor Don Grant who works closely with Pastor Wade has offered to help bring the Champion Tables together to start building friendships with men who happen to be Pastors.. Please pray for them!!!

We want to give a special thanks to Sam Goss for driving the APP team to Ocala and thanks to Pastors Dwight Edwards from the Champions Church in Winter Haven, Fl. and Bob Stone of Fellowship Baptist in Valrico/Brandon Fl.who  gave personal testimonies that made a huge impact. They shared how being in a Champions Table impacted them and their fellow Pastors.

It is our prayer that this luncheon will be the beginning for the Pastors in Ocala to link together and press forward to take their city, county and region for the Kingdom of God! Finally, if was a blessing to have 4 commissioners there to support Pastors and best of all they are Christians. Pray for them too!!!

Pastor Fred challenged the men and women who attended today’s luncheon at the Hawthorne Inn  in Lakeland Florida to stay focused on Christ as they focused on their spouses. It is true that we have wandering eyes that are built in but these eyes do not have to thirst with lust and immoral desires. As men we must admit that looking is what men do but what happens next is where the battles are often the hardest fought. We need to hold each other accountable to stay true to our wives and strong in our passion for God’s Word. The lust of the eyes has been the starting place for many who fall. Admitting that it is a real battle is where many men need to start. It is easy to say that you don’t look but we doubt your honesty with your self. Looking is normal. God built that into to us, but fighting off the temptation that follows strengthens us to stand strong when tougher battles confront us. How good it is to surround ourselves with Champion brothers to help us stand firm. Praise God!

Fred also shared about how our desires for possessions can destroy lives, marriages and churches. Our lust for the things of this earth can easily become our next IDOL! Financial honesty is critical in every marriage! Secrets are the road to trouble. Keep it open and honest even if it hurts.

Power struggles are common as Pastors, from boards at the church to that long time member who thinks they own the church. It can also be a struggle at home when a husband and wife allow the church to be their “playing field for arguments”. Men you need to date your wife every day. Treat her with loving compassion as Christ certainly treats you. Wives need to respect and support your husband even allowing him to fail. As long as he is trying support his efforts. Husbands need to realize that your wife wants you to succeed and probably has good ideas if you will ask and listen. She loves you! It is up to you to fight off the attacks of the enemy by showing kindness and respect for one another!

Above all, pray together hand in hands!!!! Every Day!!!! Do not pray at one another. Let’s face it, we are in WARFARE and it is our responsibility to utilize the armor and the weapons God has given us. Men, today you were charged to step up as real men of God and be a “CHAMPION”. Joining a Champions Table may be your next step. Being honest at your Table may be where you are?! Some may need to take good counsel and apply it. It may save your marriage, family, children, and possibly your church. One Pastor’s wife said today that the Champions Table has saved their marriage “for now“, but there is more work to do! The Champions Table is a safe place and it can also be the place that fuels your life with the wisdom and energy you thirst for!

Now, what are you going to do about it????

Pastor Moses Brown is heading to Kenya, Africa for a three day Pastors Conference from January 24-26. Pastor Peter Simwa has invited Pastor Moses to come to encourage and challenge their Pastors. Pastor Simwa called me to learn more about All Pro Pastors and to tell me that he had printed the “Champion Table” guidelines for each of the 200 plus Pastors they are expecting. Pastor Brown joined a Champions Table in 2009 and has stayed a faithful advocate for All Pro Pastors to other Pastors all over the world. We are honored to have Pastor Brown go as our Ambassador to Kenya.

Pastor Brown has extensive experience in presenting the gospel all over the world and serving mankind in many ways for Jesus. Please pray for this conference to bless these Pastors and to give them what they need to charge ahead as Champions. Please pray for Pastor Moses to have the hand of God upon him and His favor. Thank you for your prayers as we pray that many Pastors will soon be in Champion Tables in Kenya.

Special Announcement: Reverend Rogatien Q Nze is headed to Libreville Gabon Africa and has scheduled an All Pro Pastors meeting for August 24th at 10:00AM. Pastor Nze is our Ambassador to Gabon. We want to thank him in advance for his commitment to this ministry and for his passion to encourage Pastors worldwide.

We look forward to having Pastor Nze with Apostle Mathew Kalu who is the Vice President of the Libreville Missionary Pastors Association, work together to introduce All Pro Pastors and Champion Tables to the many great Pastors in Gabon.  We believe that every Pastor should be a part of a Champions Table and the meeting on the 24th will give everyone that is able to attend the opportunity to hear how Champion Tables are strengthening and encouraging Pastors and their families.

Please be in prayer for them.

Blessings

We want to thank God for bringing so many Pastors and Spouses to the Luncheon in Lakeland Florida April 28th. Moody Radio was our Sponsor and they did a fabulous job spreading the word. We had 84 in attendance and there was a great mix of men and women, denominations and many cultures.

We heard from Pierre Chestang Gen Manager of Moody Radio Florida and Bishop John Boyd from Bartow. Several other pastors gave testimonies about their Champions Tables.

There were several other requests to start or join Champion Tables and one got started that day in Dade City, Florida.

If you feel alone as a Pastor or the walls collapsing around you consider strating a Champions Table. It can significantly change your life and help you defeat the the attacks of the enemy!

Many  Blessing

The Winter Haven, Florida Pastors luncheon on April 21st was tremendous. Another Champions Table got started.

Many challenges face Pastors and their families and the Champions Table is a great way to be strengthened to withstand the worlds temptations and fiery darts.

Please pray for them!
