Are you a Biblical Citizen? What exactly does this mean? Is it important?

My answer is yes, and yes! It means taking your Christian Faith serious enough to stand strong with it and defending it in love.

In America the church has started to experience what many countries have endured for years. Shutting places of worship down and threatening pastors against preaching the word of God is just the beginning.

Pastors please wake up. I have a short video from my heart for you. It is just a short word on how I see things and some of what we have coming for you.

A successful marriage is a give and take relationship, with each person doing as follows:

90% giving and 10% taking = 100% success

Here are ten questions to ask yourself when testing your ability to give and take.

(1) Are you willing to give silence when your spouse needs a little quiet time

(Proverbs 5:1-2)?

(2) Are you willing to give your spouse the benefit of the doubt (Proverbs 2:2)?

(3) Are you willing to take a rebuke or correction and let it rest unchallenged

(Proverbs 3: 11-12)?

(4) Are you willing to take on the extra chores during a time when you know your

spouse if feeling stressed, sick, or tired (Ecc. 4:9)?

(5) Are you willing to give positive words of encouragement (I Thes. 5:11)?

(6) Are you willing to give time to spend with your spouse – alone, without interruptions

(Eph. 5:25)?

(7) Are you willing to give your spouse the courtesy of “please” and

“Thank-you” (I Cor. 13:5)?

(8) Are you willing to take a “time-out” when a disagreement appears to be overheating

(James 1:19)?

(9) Are you willing to give a compliment (Col. 4:6)?

(10) Are you willing to take criticism?

(A) Be careful starting a sentence with “you never” or “you always” (Prov. 25:11).

(B) If you give more – the take becomes easier.

(C) If you must criticize, do it lovingly.

Listen, if you could not answer yes to all of these questions, please take heart. Marriage is a growing process, a “marathon,” not a “sprint.” As each of you grow in your willingness to give and take, you will grow closer together. “Be gentle and ready to forgive, never hold grudges (Col. 3:13 TLB).

It was a whirlwind trip to Nigeria All Pro Pastors Paul Pickern and Champions Church(Winter Haven, Florida) Pastor Nolan Edwards took on April 29-May 8th to speak at the International Pastors Conference in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Logos Ministries Founder and Presiding Bishop Yomi Isijola contacted us while on a visit to Tampa in March and expressed his desire to start Champion Tables with the many Pastors he oversees throughout Nigeria. Many Pastor and Denominational leaders were scheduled to attend. In less than a month we recieved funding, got our NigeriaVisas, Passports were updated(Thanks to our local US Congressman) and airline tickets secured. Praise God, it all came together without a hitch!!

The Conference Started with Pastor Nolan speaking a powerful message of Worship and Praise. This set the foundation for the whole week. I was able to introduce Champion Tables to all the Pastors and had four Bishops sit at the Champion Table to illustrate how one should look. The Conference was a complete success and our time ended with Pastor Nolan laying hands on over 200 Pastors to pray for healing and impartation. The impact was super-natural!

We have been invited to return next year to follow-up what was a great start. If God opens this up I could see a team of Pastors going.

While in Nigeria we felt safe at all times. Our security and care was always the highest priority. Pastors Akin and Aduke’ were our hosts and they allowed us to stay with them in their home. The people of Nigeria that we met were very kind and demonstrated great honor. The women wore beautiful and colorful clothing most of the time. The food we were served was delicious and all authentic Nigerian. We did have security guards with us during all transportation except once.

Over all I would say the mission was very very successful. God opened the door and we said yes to His call. He took care of us and we obeyed!

Abundant Life rolled out the Red Carpet for Pastors and Spouses Feb 28th then surprised everyone with an old fashion “Fish Fry with Grits and Hush Puppies” luncheon treat! Pastors were encouraged, loved and blown away by Pastor Ron Ellis from BAM International. His powerful word had everyone out of their seats and cheering like the winning touchdown had just been caught.

Words from Pastors Steve Gornoski and Bob Stone about their “Champion Tables”  illustrated beautifully the importance of being a part of a Champion Table. Having  three brothers to share issues in trust and confidence each week is just like a vacation according to these pastors.

Thank you Pastor Ron Stewart and Chuck Thorpe for being great hosts and providing a terrific blessing for the pastors in Lakeland, Fl.

Thursday January 17th was our first 2013 USA luncheon for All Pro Pastors. Many Pastors and wives attended. The testimonies of how God was using the Champion Tables to encourage and strengthen marriages and ministries brought many tears. One wife declared that her husband’s Champion Table had saved their marriage. Praise God! The Champion Table is a place where we as Pastors can go and feel totally SAFE and totally Honest.

Rehoboth Faith Cathedral hosted and put on a fully catered mouth watering meal. The team, Pastor Willie Bolden has, did a wonderful job.

The beautiful testimony is there were Baptist Pastors sitting with Assembly of God Pastors and Messianic Rabbi’s with Pentecostal Bishops at the same table sharing and laughing together like a family should. Both Black and White, Nigerian and Indian Pastors all together as one one body who love Jesus and each other.

The Champion Table is helping Pastors learn to Trust one another and bring the Kingdom together. If you are not in a Champion Table, start one today. It will change your life.

Thursday August 2, 2012 The River Church of Tampa Florida hosted one of our All Pro Pastors Luncheon. It was set up for 64 pastors/spouses and we experienced a great overflow. We heard testimonies from Pastors Dan Reid and Willie Bolden about their Champion Tables and the benefits that they personally enjoy as part of one. We also had a special surprise when the Founder of the Florida Family Policy Council, John Stemberger gave us a visit. He shared briefly about what he is doing to protect our rights as Christians in Florida.

We must applaud The River for providing a fabulous completely organic meal. They treated our local pastors as royalty. Dr. Rodney and Adonica Howard Browne were the perfect hosts. It was a true expression of seeing the Kingdom in its fullness as they opened their church in genuine love to Baptist, Assembly of God, Church of God, Messianic Jews, Throne of David, non-denomination,  and many others.

We have already established one new Champion Table and others are soon to come as the result of Thursday”s luncheon. Every Pastor that I personally spoke with said that they were encouraged and learned a lot. When we asked Dr Rodney to close the meeting out many were surprised at his compassion for America and passion to see Pastors come together in unity.

We want to thank The River for being great hosts and opening their doors for APP to have a Pastors/spouse luncheon as their guests. Praise God for places that are completely open and invite the Body of Christ to come together without reservation.

Please contact us if you would like to host a Pastors luncheon at your church.

On September 27th  we have a Pastor/spouse luncheon scheduled at the First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland Florida. Please see “Events” for the details. All Pastors are invited.

Pastor Moses Brown is heading to Kenya, Africa for a three day Pastors Conference from January 24-26. Pastor Peter Simwa has invited Pastor Moses to come to encourage and challenge their Pastors. Pastor Simwa called me to learn more about All Pro Pastors and to tell me that he had printed the “Champion Table” guidelines for each of the 200 plus Pastors they are expecting. Pastor Brown joined a Champions Table in 2009 and has stayed a faithful advocate for All Pro Pastors to other Pastors all over the world. We are honored to have Pastor Brown go as our Ambassador to Kenya.

Pastor Brown has extensive experience in presenting the gospel all over the world and serving mankind in many ways for Jesus. Please pray for this conference to bless these Pastors and to give them what they need to charge ahead as Champions. Please pray for Pastor Moses to have the hand of God upon him and His favor. Thank you for your prayers as we pray that many Pastors will soon be in Champion Tables in Kenya.
